Over the centuries, the ancient town had disappeared under layers of silt and vegetation.In recent years,however,archeologists have uncovered some on the finest working towns remains in the Mediterranean.The Venetian Tower near the entrance,the ancient theater, the Temple of Asclepius,the Roman Baths,the Roman Baptistery with its priceless mosaic floor.The remains are from a variety of periods, spanning 2500 year till the 3^rd century A.D.

VISIT LEKURSI CASTLE

Your day trip continues visiting Lekursi Castle,just behind Saranda with an amazing view over the town and bay,making this the most popular and iconic viewpoint of Sarnada.Inside the walls of Lekursi castle is a restaurant with an enormous outdoor terrace.It is definitely a great spot for dinner or drinks.The right place for lunch that is served after your return from Buntrinti.

DEPARTURE FROM SARANDA – ARRIVAL IN CORFU

Keeping the good experience from the trip,there will be a walking tour on boulevard of Saranda,after which you will return to the port for the departure ,enjoying the beautiful and colorful sunset while crossing the Ioanian sea to Corfu.

11:00 Arrival at the archeological area of Butrint.There is a small bar/kiosk at the entrance to the site. Public bathroom facilities are available at the end of the tour in the Venetian Castle from Buntrint.

13:00 Arrival at the restaurant in Saranda for a buffet-style lunch
